David is one of the most prominent racehorse trainers in Victoria and has had many successes that range from winning the Grand National Steeplechase to winning the Group 1 West Australian Derby, the Group 3 West Australian Oaks, the Group 3 Auraria Stakes plus numerous Listed and metropolitan victories and placing's. This includes star sprinter Warm Love finishing 3rd behind champion sprinters Black Caviar and Hay List in the Group 1 Lightning Stakes in March 2011.

David is based on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula and trains from both his farm 'Wellington Park' and the Mornington Racecourse Training Complex. David has also spent the last few years continually improving Wellington Park and is now proud to announce the property is a fully contained training establishment with world class facilities and everything your horse needs from the spelling paddock to the race track.

With no more than 30 horses in work at the one time, David is able to provide personal attention to each horse's individualised program. Owners are offered the full range of services at David's property, horses are able to be broken in, pre-trained, trained and agisted without leaving the property (all horsed are spelled on site).The property facilities include:

• 800m sand training track

• stabling for 30 horses

• post and rail paddocks

• day paddocks

• horse walking machine

• fully enclosed round yard

• professional staff and riders

• 10 minutes to Mornington racecourse

• 10 minutes to Balnarring beach

David attends all the major sales across Australia as well as targeted sales in NZ. In addition, David has his own breeding set up at home and as a result has a number of yearlings and 2yo’s up for offer.
